Kathleen Wilson has been the Principal Harpist with the Charleston Symphony since 1987. I hold a Bachelor of Music and Master of Music in harp performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music. <br><br>With professional credentials, experience, knowledge and high quality performance skills I am able to offer a wealth of musical advice in your planning phase and follow through with a highly professional performance on your wedding day. The harp is an excellent and economical choice as a solo instrument however, if a bride wishes to add additional musicians, I can make suggestions and secure whomever is needed. I am also able to work with vocal soloists, either a professsional, a family member or friend and I often learn new music quickly. I am able to perform a wide variety of musical selections for your rehearsal dinner, tea or wedding reception yet am very familiar with religious denominations and their musical requirements. I will perform indoors or outdoors and have been told on many occasions how well the harp carried in settings ranging from a large cathedral to a plantation.
